CCTV recovery from dedicated disk drives
CCTV systems are very popular. Although they normally contain phyiscally standard disk drives, these drives are not normally FAT, exFAT etc. Some though are Linux based.
To recover videos from a system, one either requires the original device, or a program such as CnW 64
Sannce CCTV is the first to be implimented. V6.03 will recover files based on the overall date. This covers typcially an 8 hour period. Current development will include the items below :
- Selection on events, eg motion detection
- Reading a raw, corrupted disk
- Viewing any logs
The output files are *.h264. These files can be viewed by several standard programs, including VLC.
New devices will be added on request
